In spite of a broad and outstanding scientific programme with highly recognized lecturers, the Swedish Society of Internal Medicine has regrettably reached the decision to cancel the Congress.The reason for the cancellation is the financial problems, due mainly to the ongoing financial crisis that we have encountered in the health care sector and within the pharmaceutical industry.
